Accessibility Statement

Ensuring that state digital services remain open, clear, and usable for every civil servant and payroll operator.

Last Updated: May 2026

The Anambra State Government and ANSICTA are committed to providing electronic services that are accessible to all civil servants and the general public, regardless of physical or technological challenges.

WCAG 2.1 AA Standards Alignment

Our interfaces are designed to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards, ensuring that content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

Semantic HTML & Layout

We utilize semantic HTML tags (such as nav, main, footer, dt, dd) and explicit ARIA labels to ensure screen readers can easily parse, declare, and navigate components.

Responsive Resizing & Contrast

All page containers support keyboard-driven zooming up to 200% without breakage. Font color contrasts exceed a 4.5:1 ratio (respecting the warm charcoal tones in dark mode and navy in light mode).

Keyboard Navigation & Focus States

Form inputs, navigation selectors, and action triggers support keyboard focus rings (`focus:ring-2 focus:outline-none`) and logical tab sequencing for motor-impaired operators.

Feedback & Assistance

If you encounter accessibility issues or find parts of our portal difficult to navigate using assistive tools, please contact our support team at: accessibility@ansicta.anambra.gov.ng.
