Acceptable Use Policy
Operational guidelines, data handling limits, and account security obligations governing payroll administrators and employees.
Last Updated: May 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the standards of conduct required of every operator accessing the Anambra State Enterprise Payroll System (ASEPS). Fulfilling these rules is mandatory to guarantee system security, data privacy, and disbursement protection.
1. Scopes of Allowed Use
Users are permitted to use portal interfaces strictly to fulfill official state payroll operations, manage employee indices, update verification data, compute deductions, review fraud detections, and access personal payroll self-service metrics.
2. Prohibited & Restrictive Actions
To protect system integrity, users are strictly prohibited from: sharing login credentials (TOTP, tokens, email access); using automated scraping tools, crawlers, or scripting agents against platform endpoints; attempting to bypass identity verification triggers; or processing batch salary overrides without recorded clearance codes.
3. Administrative Accountability & Monitoring
Privileged administrative roles bear direct accountability for operations initiated during active sessions. Every query, index update, or cycle dispatch builds a structured, immutable transaction trail within our compliance registry.
4. Abuse Reporting & Incident Responses
Operators who notice suspicious account activities, session overrides, or security exceptions must immediately escalate incidents to the CTO Office at ANSICTA. Platform admins reserve rights to suspend accounts to prevent leakage.
System Monitoring & Prosecution Warning
All system operations are actively audited. ANSICTA will coordinate directly with state prosecutors, civil service directors, and cybercrime enforcement units to prosecute any operator attempting unauthorized modifications, salary fraud, or intentional database leaks.
